Have you guys considered a custom ROM as a solution? Many custom ROMS come with an app called "Multiwindow Control" that lets you put any app into the Multiwindow menu.

This is the set-up I usually run when I'm in my car.

Yes, now that my phone has that option, using Waze or Google Nav( that uses multi-window) is no brainer. Sorry Waze, Love ya but I like to listen to music also over bluetooth, and with google nav I can see both on screen. Make me come back!!!

It doesn't even support 1080 resolution screens yet. Let's get that one fixed first before multi window functions eh ;-)

that would definitively make my day if I could have Waze side by side with another app .

that would be a killing features.
