Android multi window

Postby rand0m9 » Mon Dec 17, 2012 7:00 pm

Was wondering if there are any plans to support multi-window that is found on the samsung note 2 (unsure about other devices)?

Adding the function seems pretty easy if anyone is unsure on how its done a reference is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024399 this is not my work.

I would appreciate that :) To use Waze + multimedia player in multi window on my S3 is one of my dreams.

Have you guys considered a custom ROM as a solution? Many custom ROMS come with an app called "Multiwindow Control" that lets you put any app into the Multiwindow menu.

This is the set-up I usually run when I'm in my car.

Yep I am running jedi x9 on my note 2. The last version did not allow me to multi Window waze but this version does. I multi Window waze for 2/3 of my screen and Spotify for the bottom third.

I was happy I could find a solution to my issue in the custom rom community but many people don't root and don't want to fight with roms some days. Native support for multi window would still be my first choice.

I agree... I'm satisfied with the stock ROM, but would like to use an official feature :)

Wish waze would implement a feature for voting on features like Spotify does.... Daily Waze use is really improved by the users and would love to see a voting place for ideas instead of just posting threads like this and then they get buried because it's not such a popular topic.

Sweet ty. I knew about this side because of my map editing but didn't even know of the other.
