Hi Guys,

Because I can't find any topic regarding the generic client translation I created a new topic and I hope lot of non english users here.

I'd like to ask why the 'ETA' is untranslatable. I'm a Hungarian, and I'd like to see 'ÉVI' instead of 'ETA' and I'd like to ask to please let us allow to translate 'ETA' to the nationally represents as well!

TIA, zsezo

Sorry, I didn't realize. Is there a way to add to the list? Or is the translation in the list already but just isn't being used by Waze consistently?

It is a text, I have seen it to show the Dutch translation. As that translation was way to long for the little bit of space available, we decided to keep it ETA, because it is more likely to be recognized than the Dutch translated abbreviation.

Did you mail translations@waze.com about this?

Yes, I know, because I'm a translator. But these "fix" graphical elements like "ETA" cannot translate with transiflex!

Especially not on the list, because as I heard this is a graphical element of waze.

I'd like to more translators behind me to translate "ETA" (on the navigation panel)

Hey translators, please join us!

Of course, but all of the ETA in the Hungarian translation remains ETA as well, because some graphical elements (not text) cannot be translated. If you don't want, no probbs.
