Distance to Hazard is inaccurate

I have noticed that Waze reports a hazard (car on shoulder) to be 1800 ft away, but it ends up to be about a mile! I know phone GPS location can be ± 20 - 30m. and have read on certain forum posts that this distance is as the crow flies but that can't account for all of that error!

Make sure you're using 3.5.3+ version. I do believe it was fixed then.

There was a problem with the system many months ago, but it was corrected. I have not noticed it being wrong since that fix. Maybe there was a client update recently that I have not yet loaded that broke it again, but I would be very surprised if that was true.

I'll try a re-install.
