Newbie train/bus/cycle commuter doesn't want to cause probs

Hi
New to Waze but clocked up some miles over the weekend (It was exciting to pass another wazer in the middle of Norfolk ;))

However during the week I tend to be a Train and bus or bike commuter, am I best turning Waze off as I travel?

I've been keeping it off on the train, on on the bus and bike, however the bus uses some bus only roads and the cycling is a mix of roads, cyclepaths and shortcuts plus (sadly) I tend to be a bit slower than the cars when I am on the road

I'm keen not to pollute the data, but equally would like to see "non-car commuting options" within the app

Would appreciate feedback and advice

Cheers

Al

EDIT --> Although I reserve the right to cycle "unclaimed" roads in my rural area, gotta eat those cookies :)

Your concerns are valid. Waze should not be used on Train, Bus or Bicycle.

Alternative modes of transport have been requested before and may appear in the future.

I'd just like to add a big "thank you".

You obviously understand and have clearly stated the reasons why Waze should only be used in a car - leaving us nothing to do but say "you got it right". ;)

I too would like to see more user types included in Waze - although my days of 2-wheeled (powered) transport are long behind me. :( As Darren say, it has been discussed, although the complications involved are not trivial.

In the meantime, why not try your hand at editing? I'm joking - it is very addictive and recommending it to someone probably counts as "pushing".
