I find the red light camera warnings incredibly annoying, yet I see no way to disable them.

Quite often I find the obscure the screen when I am trying to glance and determine if my turn is the next road or not.

You cannot stop the popups from coming nor the audio, unless you have Waze muted.

Tapatalk made me do it.

On iOS, go to settings>Display Settings>Show on Map>Speed Cams. Not sure if andriod has same settings.

I pretty sure that to waze they are the same as far as the display options. But as Alan states you can't stop the popups from coming.

"Me, too"

Feature Request:
I would also like to turn off the red light camera warnings - emphatically the audio, and the pop-ups, too.

I AM happy that they finally fixed the RR crossing warning.
It is best not to necro post: If you find an old thread and want to discuss it, consider starting a new thread and include a link to the old one in your post with your new or related question or comment.

You can turn off speed camera alerts in Settings -> Alerts & reports -> Reports -> Speed cams -> swipe off Alert me while driving.

Is it working to disable the red light cam only ?

I thought that red cams and speed cams are under the same setting....

Not sure. I live in a rural area with no cameras such as this, so I'm not sure if or when I could try this out.

Glad to see there's a support group for this topic. This has been slowly driving me crazy for awhile, and finally got around to seeing if there was a solution. I poked around their Uservoice page, and this topic seems to be the closest, and best supported. Go vote!

The red light camera popup is not only annoying for drivers not intending to run red lights but it is also buggy. I often get two or three popups for the same camera. With CarPlay, when I get three popups one of the windows is placed at the upper left of the screen rather than the lower left. It not only blocks the navigation window but it cannot be dismissed by pressing "close" and it will not dismiss automatically. I can only get rid of the popup by restarting the application.
