Waze forum

The app logo still shows the little numeral "4" even after I have cleared all those notifications. There's nothing in my inbox.

Not sure it is necessary as a workaround but I always mark read first then delete. I currently do not have a push badge on my Waze icon and that matches what I see in the app.

Open a UR from livemap then go into the editor. When you get the push, try my process to see if it clears things up. I have no idea if it will help, but it can't hurt I don't think......

Simple answer, go to inbox, Select All, Mark As Read, Select All, Delete, Repeat. Depending on your device, you may have to go back to the menu and back into your inbox if the next chunk of messages do not appear automatically.

The little 5 appeared on mine a few weeks ago without ever having received a message. Or maybe I did, but was unable to view them. I haven't gotten a message in a while, which is strange because I used to get the beep beeps a lot.

That could be what it is...If I pull down the little iOS "window shade", I see that I've gotten a notification every 7 days. However, the number didn't increase this week, so I don't think that's it.

This is still a problem for me ever since I had to replace my iPhone under warranty.

The "4" badge is always there with nothing in the Inbox. I finally just turned-off badges for the app in Notifications, since it's apparently not going to get fixed any time soon.

Thanks for the ideas. Think I may just turn the notifications off. I'm obsessive enough that I get the messages, one way or another, anyway.

I've gotten 4 "notifications" for the weekly ranking, but nothing ever showed in my inbox. I eventually went into the general setting and turned off the "Badge App Icon" notification so they at least don't show up there.

I was up to 8 notifications (all for weekly "top" notifications) then one day it dropped to 2. Since then I've gotten 2 more notifications (again nothing in my inbox), so I'm now at 4. So it does seem that there is some "timeout" with them.

I have over 600 notifications that I would love to clear.
