Why a friend 1000 Km away from me cannot find a group created by me? Is there any group proximity limit to find a group?

Thanks in advance!

Ive been wondering why my friend couldnt find a group I started.
I found on the Wiki that the radius is 62 miles (100Km).
I belong to a car club and we all wanted to be able to track and communicate to each other using the group but seems as though we cant yet

I'm having the same problem. A friend who's 100 miles away cannot see my group.

When can we expect to see this expanded?

If my friend searches while he's near me, will he see it?

Is the group attached to my location or where I was when I created the group??

It seems that the group is attached to your geographic region but not your device's location. My friend came to DC and was able to join my group. I tried to join his group that was created in Richmond while he was in DC but I still could not see it.

What you can do is in your group, click on the members tab, search for your friend's name, click his name and it will show all the groups he has joined, locate his group that is out of your region and click join.
