Hi Everyone,

I'm kinda new to the community as I've only been using the app for a few days.

So we have some roads here in my neighbourhood that are actually closed (through gates) but Waze routes me to take those roads anyway since it's the shortest way to my destination. I tried marking several roads as closed and the map being tiny as it is (on an iPhone), I ended up hitting the wrong arrow and created a closure report for another (not closed) corner.

Is there a way for me to edit or even delete the reports that I created via the app?

The closure report in the app is for temporary road construction. It's not a method of editing the map. A it will do for you is give you an alternate route if the way it wants you to go is impassible.

If you have roads that are permanently closed, that has to be fixed in the map editor.


Via my iPhone 4S.

Roads with restricted access - e.g. gates or traffic signs - are supposed to be mapped as private. If done so, waze will not route you via, but will route you if it is the only possible way to your destination.
