Waze not starting correctly

I have been using Waze for some time with no problems on my Android device.

All my other apps etc work fine, but today I have not been able to start Waze.

This morning (Europe) I was presented with a Facebook page asking me to accept or decline sharing some more information. After this it went to a black screen.

Later in the day only a black screen was shown when I tried starting it.

Now, the app starts, the text "Initialising, please wait." is shown, my car icon jumps around, no map is shown, I can access the menus but I am clearly not logged in and after a while the following is shown:

Uh-oh" Failed to initialise. No Network connection.

Any ideas?
Is the problem on my end or is anyone else seeing this?

Just to add.. after the "Uh-oh" message the app closes.

If I connect via wifi, the problem is the same.

Other navigation apps are working fine.

Should I reinstall?

Well.. I reinstalled and so far it seems to be working ok again. :D
