My Waze doesn't seem to be working. It doesn't follow along my route as I drive. It just stays at my home.

Not sure about Android, but in iOS, there are separate settings to allow each app access to GPS or what iOS calls "location services." Ensure that is on in the Android OS settings.

Does Waze ever put up a notification at the top like "Can't get GPS signal. Go outdoors." or anything like that in red text?

Is it a matter of the screen staying focused on one location and the car icon moving or is the car/pointer icon also staying in one place?

I have seen the former case on my Android (maybe also on iPhone but don't recall). If I tap on the screen to bring up the compass and target buttons and then tap the target button the screen centers on my location with the car/pointer also centered.

I'm in the USA. And yes other gps apps work.
Waze is the only one that doesn't.
I have whatever the lastest version is.
Android.

The car icon stays at my home point. Even if I am not "home" when I start the drive.

Some more info might help to get you some assistance.
Add your location to your profile on the forums so people can get an idea where in the world you are.
What device is it?
What OS?
Does any other GPS apps like Apple Maps / Google Maps work?
Is it rooted or jailbroken?
What version of Waze?
