Shift map when pop up event is displayed

When the pop up is event is displayed, I see the description of the event, but I can not see the actual place of the event on the map, because it is hidden under the pop up window.
Could the map be moved/shifted a bit, so that the place of event would be shown and visible below the pop up window?
(I use iPhone 4 in vertical position)
