Smig wrote:Updated this morning, always shuts down when trying to navigate using saved "Home". I access this via lower left button (slider or touch). Other saved destinations will work but will randomly shut down if I use the lower left navigate button ( touch or slide).

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4 (10B350)
Verizon 14.2
Waze 3.7.0.0
Having the same issue. App crashes anytime I select Home as a destination. In the Favorites window, the Home favorite shows "EventVerified" behind the word "Home".

Debug logs have been submitted.

Are the purple street labels supposed to display the full street name? I've noticed on a number of highways that instead of showing the full street name (i.e. I-35 or State Hwy 289), the purple label only shows the numeric portion (i.e. 35 or 289). It seems like this coincides with sections where shields are visible. If the shield can be seen, only the number displays. If there is no shield, then the full street name is displayed.

I had more issues on Friday working with favorites. I tried to navigate to my Favorite for 'Work' and each time I selected that location, I would get errors about the endpoint. These errors appeared after it found the address, but before it calculated a route. If I manually typed in the address, I would get the same error.

It's working today, just wanted to point it out. Debug logs have been submitted.

ImpairedDriver wrote: Also, when you say a "good enough network" what exactly do you mean. I have noticed since day one of using Waze that when I fall back to Edge on AT&T in the US that I do not have network connectivity with Waze. It's interesting because even in new areas that I never driven before, Waze will say that it doesn't have network connectivity yet new map tiles are being downloaded as I see the roads and such around me while driving in these areas. I also see huge gaps in the "Drives" when viewing on the website, and these correspond to areas that I had Edge connectivity (or no connectivity at all in some areas which makes perfect sense).

Thanks!
I've noticed the same thing. There are sections on some of my longer routes where I fall back to the AT&T Edge network. In those areas, I've noticed that I have no network connectivity show up if I'm in that area long enough. It has gotten better in 3.6 and 3.7, as I used to see large blank spots in the map and I would get a lot of "proceed to highlighted route" messages in those areas.

That's only for Facebook Friends on the Way , not for reports on the route. It's always been that way.

That's a system issue and not app-specific.

"We couldn't retrieve your location. Please make sure your phone's location settings are turned on."
Verify that in Privacy settings that Waze is set to On for Location Services. Each app has its own setting. Not sure how that would get changed...

For the "reinstall" did you delete, then reboot, then install from the App Store? If you didn't do the reboot in the middle there, try it. If it still doesn't work, we'll want to turn on debug mode by entering 2##2 into a navigation search and then start Waze again so it can capture debug log data.
