Alerts in Other Direction of Split Road

This morning I received what looked to be an alert reported on the other side of a split freeway. Took the screenshot late, but the pin was clearly on the other carriageway. I received a voice alert, popup and the blue rings. Anyone else seen anything to indicate that notification for alerts for the other direction on a split road might have changed?

I haven't seen anything like this that I am aware of.
