Phantom Wazers

Hi- I have noticed nearly daily that I see other wazers on the map - often not moving - and when I pass the spot, there is nothing there. Often they are visible as miles ahead, but then just disappear as I get closer. If they really are not reporting, don't they timeout and get removed? My normal path to and from work has very few Wazers, if that matters.

Hi,

Live maps shows wazers with delay (around 2 min) and they were already gone when you arrived to the spot. This is also why these icon appear and disappear. Their movements are not live but snapshots.
