Waze forum

I am a regular user of Waze on Blackberry. For last 3 days the device is not able to get connected to teh GPS. No changes has been done and even the position at which my Blackberry is mounted is also not changed. The signal/Network is very clear, but GPS icon is always grayed out (not green i mean).
The GPS settings are enabled, which I have checked. Anyone can tell me the reason?

Yes after hard booting the issue go resolved.

I am using BB9930 and it does not have the 'refresh GPS' menu option(or similar) at all. Anyways thank you guys for your voluntering and helping, "Waze to go".

I'm not a blackberry user, but here are some common troubleshooting steps, that you may have already done but not mentioned.

Do you have any other GPS software on your device, that you can test?
Have you tried a soft reboot of your device?

As rallychris says, there are some issues with GPS in the BB. I think that to resolve your problem, you need to refresh your GPS location.
To do this, please go to your general options inside your BB there go to "advanced options".
After that, please go to "GPS" and then in the "GPS Service" field press the BB button and then press "refresh GPS". "Refreshig GPS" its take several minutes, so do not worry.
This process needs to fix your GPS problem.
