Please tell me I am just missing the option to display my current speed when I am not following a route. If it's on the screen somewhere, I am just blinded to it.

If this is the current state, I'd like to see my current speed displayed at all times. Or the option to do so.

Okay, then, the option is there. Yay. And I have had it turned on. Now I just need to verify it appears as expected. I will test to see if a certain situation causes it to disappear because I am fairly certain I have been driving and noticed it was not on the screen. I will update this thread with my finding.

The speedometer can be turned on in the map settings. Once turned on, your speed is displayed in the bottom right corner.

Hello Alan:
As Gerber says, in order to see your speedometer always in your screen. You only need to go to "settings", then go to "map" and there you can turn on your speedometer.
