I've been using the app since Apr 1 in my WP 8.1 Nokia 1020.

Recalculating works, even though it always recalculates when i'm sitting at a red light in the right lane, then it tells me to suddenly be in a turning lane. Not a big deal.

I do still experience the bug with trying to connect to facebook, and the bug when trying to view the details of a message in my inbox.

I'm another Android user moving to Windows.
So, I have the same issues with the W8 version of the app. No landscape, and the prospect of no future updates.
If the Android version will work in W10, I'll wait for that, once it has been tested.

Don't Waze own the app and the code? If they posted it to the Windows store somehow, wouldn't that bypass Google and Apple?

Please Waze, let my Windows phone show the app in landscape, by any means.

Point taken. I just copied the release notes verbatim. I didn't feel it appropriate for me to edit except for grammar.

I could add a footnote...

Did you try entering "prevent lock" into the "Ask a Question" box on the support page (per the OP link above)

Creating a Waze account is much better experience overall, IMO. It looks like you got an account set up, so good for you! Once the facebook connect issues are resolved, you'll be able to link later.

Windows Phone is more complicated to deal with than ios and Android. Thats why updates are held up.

Wp is dead??????

I shall be leaving - just when I am about to get into adding hn's to my editing area ( there are NONE)

hmm, Just asked waze direct if they will ever do anything on WP as this thread is bit old, but its all I could find on the subject. I have been promoting waze but if they abandon a sector of the market thats blatent discrimination and monopolising Android........I hope for a positive response before I get blogging on this...

I await........hopeingly.....but not hopefully!
