Hi Folks,

Thanks for the feedback.

I've recently installed Waze on my old/spare Lumia 920. That too has the same forgotten ID problem as seen on the Lumia 930.

It has only started doing it within the last few weeks. Has Waze changed something (server side?) within this timespan?

I too support the desperate pleas to bring back WP support for Waze. I'm not going to change my phone to Android or Crapple just to get support for my preferred satnav app - I'd rather keep Waze, but will ultimately search for an alternative app. :(

You've probably already found it, but here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/a ... zdncrfj2m3

I've been a Waze user for years, across iOS, Android, and WP. It's dusgusting what state WP's version has been left in.

I love my Lumia 950, as I loved my 8x and Icon before it, and will find another nav app before switching back to Android.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

It is installed on the main memory of the phone (the 930 doesn't have an SD slot).

Cheers,

Dave

If Waze has stopped supportin the WP app, then they stopped supporting a portion of their mobile users (which includes myself). That how you win (and quickly lose) new users... end of story.

Perhaps they can make use of the IOS bridge Microsoft is making to help port IOS apps to windows?

Any chance Waze allows community to support Windows Phone version (including myself)?
I originally wanted to file a bug but as I am reading this thread it makes no sense to do so as Windows Phone app support is very disappointing.

As it was explained a few times in the previous pages. Waze has stopped support for Windows Phone devices. Meaning that the app still exists but they don't have any devs working on it anymore, and that means no updates.
Nobody knows if this decision is definitive or not. However there has been no talk or rumors about continuing support for WP anytime soon.
