This is normal. I'm not sure if its done to reduce load on the server or to protect privacy, but Wazer's locations are updated only periodically, not live. You will notice you are "leap-frogging" back and forth with other Wazer's when you are close by.

Not true. In the same time frame this feedback thread has been active, the iOS and Android feedback threads have seen even more visitors:
WP - 38,107 views Nov 2013-2014
iOS - 61,609 views in multiple threads Nov 2013-2014
Android - 100,070 views in multiple threads Nov 2013-2014

Also notice that it is 18 months old, compared with both the iOS and Android threads that are less than 3 months old. When you look at the android/ios threads over the same time frame:

WP 3.7.6 - 52K views / 18 m = 2900 views/mo
iOS 3.7.6 to 3.9.4 - 121K views / 18 m = 6731 views/mo
Android 3.7.6 to 3.9.4 - 142K views / 18 m = 7917 views/mo

sorry I am French. what does "T's and C's" mean?
No issue for me with my Lumia 835 preventing from using Waze..
Terms and Conditions. (The legal language screen apparently has some size/scrolling errors on some phones).

Clearly the solution is that you all get real phones, that do actual things.

I recommend you all take your complaint/requests to the Waze Suggestion Box, I haven't seen any evidence that Staff review this thread.

Staff is not working on a Windows phone update. They have decided the effort is not worth the small user base. You can voice your opinion in the Waze Suggestion Box.

I've had good Android devices, but since started using a Lumia in 2012, I can't longer return to android and IOS does not please me.
Google should respect the choice of the people and not force to choose the android.
Long life for WP!!!
They are not forcing. It's called MARKET. All operationg systems have their advantages and disadvantages ;)
