More than 5 years using and enjoying Waze in Italy. I've just buy a new car with carplay (it will arrive in 2 months) and I'm very disappointed by the lack of Waze support...
If nothing changes, sure I'll go with Apple maps, but I'm hoping this will not happen.

Did you try putting the radio into Pioneer's AppRadio mode? I don't have one so I can't tell you how to do it, but Waze is listed as supported by that mode.

I've really hoping that Waze adds support for CarPlay!

I would also like to know this!

I'm in the market for a new stereo for my car and I may purchase a CarPlay compatible system if I can run Waze on it!

I don't understand what the hold up is, for this and for android auto. I'm tempted to go back to google maps which is far superior to waze, but the darn police alerts keep me hooked. I dream of how nice it would be to have waze on my cars big screen. Come on guys, get it done or at least let us know an eta.

Wow I'm surprised this isn't in yet. Waze seems to be falling behind more and more. After their horrible update making everything cartoonish and huge, the GPS and connectivity issues, and the terrible/useless search I'd think they would want to have a feature to stay ahead. Both Apple maps and Google maps are far ahead of them at this point. The ONLY feature I really cannot lose is the crowd sourced police alerts, driving 60+ miles every day in NJ and I need that protection.

Please add CarPlay support!
