Adding Friends

Hello! I am new to Waze and have usedfor a couple of weeks. I have connected it to Facebook and some of my FB friends who use Waze have been added.

How do I add friends who are not on FB? There doesn't seem to be a way?

I am using the iPhone app iOS 7.1.1
Release 3.7.8.0
I am in the UK.

Apologies if really simple solution.

Nope. Facebook is the only way for now.
