Dismissing the Road Goodie Notification

When I acquire a road goodie--when I get any kind of reward, I suppose--a notification replaces the ETA area at the bottom of the navigation screen.

Nice as it is to get points, I'd like to get my ETA display back. Is this possible?

I'm using Waze on Windows 8.1.

It should be designed to go away after a few seconds. Is it not returning to ETA in the Windows version?

I had a similar problem this morning. I chose my destination, then selected a route from among the alternatives (the default route, as it turned out). The display of the number of nearby Wazers and current reports didn't yield to the ETA display for the duration of my drive.
