Changing/Updating road type

Postby jmigueli287 » Sun May 26, 2019 12:54 pm

Hello! Im new to the whole editing thing but I was just wondering if there is a way for waze to update their map. Currently, Waze map still shows a road in our village as a railroad when it is no longer a railroad (it was but that was way back in 1908 or 1936) and because of this, waze directs my visitors and grab drivers to a different route to my house making them usually lost in the village. Is there a way someone can fix this?

magandang araw muli sa inyo,

i can assure you the the railway does not interfere with navigation. these are classified as non-driveable segments.
your issue may stem from another problem with the current road network in your village or area.

you'll need to expound further in detail the errors being encountered so i can investigate, trace / troubleshoot and analyze the root cause.

for your convenience, you can post & send me diagrams, screenshots or photos thru my email at speeddzel@waze.ph

The issue behind this outdated road is that it leads waze users to one of two things: a longer route or a route that leads the drivers some other place near the house ending up getting lost (grab drivers especially). I've also tried reporting a map issue then "pave" a road but its still the same. I'll try to send screenshots and email the details.
