I tried to do my part today, but Waze's servers seem to be busy. It's been 5 minutes now, but the editing dashboard is not showing yet.

it will be available once we map out 80% (at least) of ALL gas stations nationwide. this includes ALL players from the BIG 3 to the small players.

of the 4,490 gas stations reportedly to exist, we've mapped 2499 (pa lang) which translates to 55.65% as of 04 November 2013.

we still have 44.34% or 1991 stations to hunt down/locate and map! ...for the GAS feature to be activated in the PHILIPPINES...

to date, editors are still working on surpassing the 100% mark.

we initially made a formal request for activation last March 10.
and subsequently, another request (follow up) was made yesterday, April 27.

with this, we have also made a request for activation of the
TTS (Text To Speech) & ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition)

we're still waiting for feedback from the Infrastructure guys on these matters.

I just lost the Gas Price Update button in my Waze. It has been replaced by Pave. Is this happening to everyone also? I've tried reinstalling from google play, no luck so far.
