waze cannot find a route

Post by emer1201981
hi wazers!

just wondering.. why does waze sometimes cannot find a route to the destination? For example, I am from banawe QC and i would like to go to morong rizal, but waze cannot find a route. Is this a map problem? If so, how can I correct it?

Thanks!

Thanks RangeRoverHSE.

The destination I was trying to get to is morong town plaza, and i am starting from z square mall, banawe cor. del monte ave. it still says cannot find a route. but if i set my starting point somewhere nearer, like sm masinag, then waze can find a route. weird...

Usually, before a long drive, I would check on the live map (https://www.waze.com/livemap/) if there really is a route going to my destination.

If Waze can't find a route, either you dig in and edit the map yourself (especially if you've passed this route before), or let any of the always-monitoring-map-editors take care of it -- by posting on the FB page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/WazePhilippines/).

Fixed the entire stretch, there were lots of disconnected segments, disabled turns, unnecessary junctions, and multiple segment layers. If this still does not work after it is included on the map update, I might have missed some segments so please let us know

It would depend. What is the destination were you trying to get to? So that the route can be checked if there are road segments that are not connected. I often travel to Morong and Angono area and I find a route. Perhaps it was just at the time that the server was processing a lot of users as it sometimes happens during heavy traffic periods around the roads. Or perhaps it was simply an instance that you were not getting a network signal. It happens so it's not necessarily a map problem.

Oh my, I will try to remember to check out the roads on my computer when I get back. There must be a segment that's off but that is a rather large area to reconn. Let's hope I or the other editors can find it.

In the meantime, I tried searching a route from both Aurora Blvd. near Marcos Hiway and Ortigas near C5 and it found a route.
