Newlands, Cape Town, Unlock request

Hi Editors,

I would like to be able to edit the Several segments around Cape Town as there are temporary closures cropping up each hour with the current wildfires. Waze kept trying to take me along a closed road yesterday whilst Google maps was already up to date with closures.

How do I get to a level where I can contribute?

You need to be a Level 3 editor to add road closures.

South Africa is in desperate need of volunteer editors that willing to spend some time each week updating the map.

Waze is a User edited map. So the more you contribute the better the map will be.
