Certainly looks like a security style camera, as can be seen in the SV, but since that object has been on the map since 2012 ... Ah I see the reporter stated there used to be a RLC in that location long ago, so that explains that SV image.

JMPD are still watching, so this may still be a RLC, just not a speed camera, which explains the speed setting of 0. It is pointing direct towards the intersection, to catch the rear number plate of jumpers.

After all that waffle, I say the camera must stay, as it performs the same function. Anyone keen to jump the red light a few times to see if this theory is correct?
