You can't remove Google location data, but Waze data should take precedence.

From the looks of it, everything is working fine in-app. I just searched for "106 Beacon Hill" on my phone and was sent to the correct location. The only way to get the incorrect Google location was to manually pick the Google search result.

Search from the live map is still incorrect, but it's always been pretty iffy for some reason. You could try adding a RPP to see if it helps. I've also added "Beacon Hill Rd" and "Beacon Hill Road" as alternate names in WME on the relevant segments. It might help. As a last resort, you can also report the incorrect location in Google Maps itself.

If you're still seeing URs, here's important information you could relay to the driver (from the wiki):

The Waze app does not automatically update position data for already-obtained destinations! Even after an address has been adjusted using WME and/or Google Maps, the app will retain the stale position data indefinitely and navigation will continue to fail. To eliminate stale position data, ask the reporter to remove any existing instances of the destination in their recents and favorites lists and then search for the destination again from scratch.

Ok, thanks.
It does seem correct in the app now.

HNs Waze vs Google Maps

Postby ben555ben » Wed Dec 20, 2017 4:35 am

I'm having an issue with House Numbers (HNs). Specifically here.

There were URs to input HNs which I did, but when searching for an address, for example, 106 Beacon Hill, Beaconsfield, Waze will send you to the Google address location (the wrong location) instead of the Waze HN point (the correct location).

Searching for 106 beacon hill gives you 106 Beacon Hill Road (from Google)

You can click the search icon and get the Waze location:

But this is not intuitive...
If people don't know about this, they get sent to the wrong location:

As I've seen happen vis-a-vis the UR in the first permalink in this post

Can anything be done about this, such as removing Google location data?
