I found my thrill... on Beech Hill?

Post by ColinsGoat
Why are so many places in Nova Scotia labeled "Beech Hill"? This gas station, for example. See also these screen shots:

The places showing as "Beech Hill" in the three screenshots correspond roughly to these places on the map, respectively:
First
Second
Third

I've noticed many more. These are just representative examples.

So what does it mean? Is "Beech Hill" some sort of default?

And now that I've noticed it, I see it everywhere!

I checked those areas too in order to see if I could find elements with that city name, but could not. I'm not sure what to say, it's very odd.
