Hello all, seems like cjbmcdon has found an issue with the Quinpool Rd section leading to the Armdale rotary!https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... =500928224

Thank you for pointing this put.
I have fixed the turn restriction on this segment
and it will take 2-3 days for the changes to reach the App.
You can inform the Reporter and mark the issue as solved.
Welcome on board. Good to know we have someone local in Halifax who look after the map.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I do actually have one question.
There is a map issue pointing out that a parking lot was input as a point and not a shape, but the lot in question is not accessible by the public (Government property). What is the best solution for the marker?https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... %2F2193776

This is a Map Problem (MP) and not a Usres Report (UR).
Map problems are generated automatically by the system on potential issues with editing.
I suggest that you read more about editing in the Editing Manual (look at my signature).
This particular MP is related to the Parking Project and we asked editors not to touch that kind of MPs, until we get better clarity on the project.
I don't see the Parking Place or Point associated with this MP. Someone must have deleted it.
We typically don't map parking that is not accessible by the general public. You will read about it in the editing manual.

I have been looking over some of the items I have discussed and I am now wondering if this section should be changed to a one way street instead of a two-way street. https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... ,500928220

And how would drivers inside the RA will continue WB on Quinpool Rd?
It's a little confusing at first because the human eye tries to put a segment on top of the exact road, but this is does not have to match in Waze and you would still get proper instructions.
Have you experience a navigation issue in this area or saw any UR?

Ohh, I see it now. This would relate to keeping the map from being cluttered! Ahh the light bulb has illuminated!

Instead of breaking every lane we can put them together and get the same result.
It makes the map more simple and this is a key principal in editing.

I think it probably should be. Either that or some TRs should be added...

Like hmarian says, how would you exit the roundabout if it were changed?
It follows the editing rules by keeping it simple.
