Nanaimo wazer looking for guidance

Hello all

I am relatively new to Waze and living in Nanaimo where the Waze activity level seems to be pretty low. Nonetheless I have done a few edits on the area map notably to fix missing streets in my subdivision (including the street that I live on). At the moment there are 6 issues showing on the map that I would be happy to help resolve however my preference would be to work with someone with more experience initially.

Is there someone already designated as the Nanaimo 'expert' that I could contact or anyone else willing to walk through the issues?

This thread has been inactive for a while, but thought I'd chime in:

Kevin: In the WME, you can toggle the 'Area Manager' layer to see who has been assigned a given area to manage. Their name will be listed in the centre of their area, so, in the cases of very large areas (larger than the zoom 1 level) you might not see the name right off the bat, and have to scroll around a bit.

In your case, Nanaimo has three listed Area Managers. These are, with editing rank in parentheses:
doctorkb (6) - also a Waze Global Champ, Country Manager for Canada
james8970 (5) - also a Waze Local Champ, Country Manager for Canada
GeekGuy61 (2)

Also, Kayos_On_The_Road (3) is a Vancouver-based editor who has done a fair bit of work in Nanaimo. I'd suggest he might be the first person you should contact if you have questions editing in the area. I'm also happy to answer any questions you might have.
