Hi, I went on another Classification craze, this time for New Westminster, BC:

In order to match the maps provided in the New Westminster OCP (pg 141) and Downtown Community Plan (pg 79), I propose that we convert according to the below:

Major Regional Arterial / Major Roads Network -> Major Highway (MH)
City Arterial -> Minor Highway (mH)
City Collector -> Primary Street (PS)
Other / not classified -> Street


To MH type:
McBride Blvd
Royal Ave
Front St + W end of Columbia St
Stewardson Way + E end of Marine Way
W half of E Columbia St + Brunette Ave
Boyd St + Derwent Way
Howes St


To mH type:
E half of E Columbia St
12 St
8 St S of Royal Ave
6 St S of Royal Ave


To PS type:
Braid St E end


To Street type:
8 St N of Royal Ave - I admit this is a strange one, with parts of it being 4 lanes wide, but the OCP does not classify it
2 St - not classified in OCP
Richmond St - not classified in OCP
Cumberland St - These 2 sections not classified in OCP

That should be it for New West!
