Terrace BC Navigational problem

I have added a placemarker in Terrace (Thornhill) for the new Holiday Inn Express January 25/17 from a result of a UR for incorrect directions.

It appears there the linked google place is not routing/linking to the waze placemarker or something like that.

In the app, I am using the search term "Holiday Inn Terrace" and in the results the one in question, should be the top -- if I swipe over to the "Places" filter, and goto the bottom result, that (on my end) appears as my marker -- I also submitted and has been approved, the location on Good Maps. But that still doesn't really explain why my Waze marker isn't being placed at the top of the results, is that not it should be working?

I am confused on the issue, and wondering what is the best way to handle it from here.

Thanks Matt -- I agree with you about the gmaps editing. I did report the location via gmaps though, and they did fix it -- (said it can take upwards of 24 hrs...)

I guess I will try again when the rebuild goes through and see what happens. Right now, I search for "Holiday Inn Terrace" the Waze result is second on the list.

So I understand correctly... ideally if a Waze marker exists, that should be the first result?

Regardless, at least now both will route to the right location and not the backroad.

I've changed the alt name to only be Holiday Inn and added one for Holiday Inn Express. With respect to search results, the quick search list only shows results from google, so to see a waze result you need to actually press the search button. However, there does seem to be something strange happening with the google pin which I've never seen before. The geocode you have linked seems to be the right place, but there is a second place in gmaps off to the left. I avoid editing in gmaps, but you could report it as a problem and see if it can be fixed there.

The google results in the auto complete results is google sourced and we've been told it will always be google. It's been complained about on a regular basis, so it may change, but I doubt it.
