New feature: Speed limits

Post by Grimace780
I notice today that the map editor now includes space to enter posted speed limits. Some questions for higher level editors:

What would be an acceptable speed limit for a parking lot? 10 km/h? 20 km/h? Leave that blank?

How will speed limit data be propagated into the existing segments? Manual by editors? Or by some automated mechanism?

Leave it blank for parking lots and private roads.

There has to be a lot of manual work, but I think somewhere around 50%, they've got an idea for automated update of the rest of them.

We don't usually add construction limits because they're changing too often and are very hard to keep up on.

Just saw this thread, and it brought a question I've been wondering about for a while. What about construction zones, for example Whitemud @ 75 St? It is showing 80, but of course between the entry & exit ramps it is 50 during bridge construction
