Thank you. As concerned with the network issue, WAZE itself doesn't need a VPN to use in Shenzhen, and I believe it is the same within China elsewhere. Logging into the WAZE map edit needs VPN as it downloads the Google Map. That is one reason I realised why WAZE was not popular here cause people can't edit the map freely. But I've found out that ever since 2012 there were editors here who had already built up the majority of the city map. I just tried my first update to some of his works and my own surrounding area. It's fun to begin! :)
...And we need more people like you in Mainland China willing to become editors. Wuhan (Hubei) has plenty of users, but only 1 editor on the ground.

you could search using chinese character, but you have to type the whole sentence in order to get the result, eg. 番禺大道北 instead of 番禺大道, but in english you can just type in panyu then all the related result will come out.
For the 'Chinese character have to type in full' issue, the temporary solution is add more related name in as Alternative Name. Like 北京大学, add 北大 as alternative.

Hi. The location of the Place can be accessed through permalink, by selecting the Stadium then press the "Create Permalink Icon" at bottom right corner. Please refer to here for about information about permalink.
