Why do we create places/roads on Waze when GMaps have done?

Google maps have the most updated maps in China except for a few of roads and places. Then what is the necessity for mapping on Waze?

Yes, it is necessary. Gmap is not away right and not always up-to-date. That's why Waze is called community navigation app that users can provide up-to-date information.
