Any connection to un-named segments for TTS issues perhaps? They show up blank in the nav list (or at least they do in the released app store version).

I posted this over on the Android thread in response to Spill...

You may be on to something. I know that in the current iPhone app store release, if you bring up the nav list the future directions are often missing their names. If you close the nav list and then bring it back up right away, then they appear. Also, the on screen next turn directions sometimes pop up as "..." for the name for a few seconds. So maybe there is a similar issue going on where the client is not fetching future information far enough in advance.

And hi Sketch!

I would like to rectify what said above. History button is working fine. Only runs from "favorites" are not saved.

Favorites have never been placed in the History. It is a history of searches, not of actions.

I prefer it this way since it makes it easier to find "that place we went to 2 months ago for lunch" when it is not buried under 2 months worth of going to home/work/store/school/parents etc.

This is probably an old bug, and not a terribly important one but somewhat anoying.

when i'm navigating and have the normal purple line.
If i go menu->add stop->catagories->gas then go back to the map without picking any, i get the pink line.

Bug:
Pick up doesn't work when already navigating to a destination. My friend gets the email, clicks the link, i get the pop up and hit the ok button or whatever it says and nothing happens. He doesn't see me moving, and my destination doesn't change.

Request:
In the near destination bar, can the stop navigation button turn into a turn off button when not navigating? That way i could just press it twice to quit instead of having to wait for the menu.

Question:
I'll be getting a new iphone in 2 weeks(duh). Is there a procedure for me to give you guys the new device ID to continue beta testing?

They use to overlap on each other and the resulting animation made it look like the oposite direction. Now it's smooth as butter!

I'm concerned about the parking feature. is there a plan for a find my car mode?
As of now it's just the regular map view when you open it back up, which encourages users to walk with waze. Are you able to filter out that bad data?

So far it's really slow but it works great. Will be able to drive with it later today.
Already 'picked up' a friend. Way cool!

Update looks great, love the new look.

Just two things I noticed.

When I tap another user's icon, the information about him is displayed outside the screen, if his icon is near the top of the screen.

The German version still has lots of english words in it, for example in this screen:
