It would be nice if we could adjust the speed zoom ourself for our driving habits?

The settings are in the \waze\preferences file.

You may browse to the file using a FILE EXPLORER and editing the text file with a TEXT EDITOR.
You may find both tools in Google Play free apps.

OK, I have txt editor up and looking thru this, do you know how I would change the AutoZoom feature. I am guess here: My guess

Autozoom.Speed Factor: 15. is that the Factor I should Change, to maybe 20? so it would take a higher speed before it would keep zooming out? Right now it is zooming out so fare at 40 mph I can't see my next turn on a 45 mph street

Few things.

#1 Running Android Ice Cream Sandwich on my Droid Razr Maxx, I had an "error" and waze crashed, I did send the bug report on to waze. It may not be waze's fault though, Ice Cream Sandwich has a problem with having "bug problems." in it's OS.

#2 the Report "Road Closure" did not work, nothing came up when I clicked on the icon.

#3 the Pick someone up by "text messaging" did not work, or the "Share ride, send location etc" the text feature never "went through." It did work though when i sent by email, email links worked fine.

#4 Another thing about the pick someone up feature, I tried this in my car with my girlfriend, i was running waze, i clicked on "pick someone up" send my girlfriend the link by email, she received the link and opened it up, but her link never figured out that I was already driving, it kept telling my gf she was still waiting for me to start driving even though I was already driving.

Thank you waze, will try to give you more details as I test it out more.

When trying out the "pick someone up" feature, it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I usually have to pick up my gf from work, and instead of me having to tell her where I'm at all the time, her wondering where I am on the road, i like using the "pick up" feature, but she's still inside her office working and sometimes it tells her you need to be outside so her "gps" will start working...is there any way for that feature to work with out her having to be outside? Where it can kind of "find her" but not find her right on the spot?

Also, I've been getting (the three screen shots attached) while I'm driving, i get the Sorry, there's no GPS reception in this location, try going outdoors. At random times, usually I'll get it right next to my house even though I'm still on the road, with full bars.

Thank you guys from waze for all your hard work!

I had some crashes, sometimes was kernel panic with SGS2 CM9.

Alarm on radar has to big button for "here no" and for closing is there just small X on corner. This will be navigate users to say here no radar offen by mistake.

Vitj, with CM9 have you experienced lost of GPS reception sometimes when this dialog appears? I'm on CM10 and I usually I got no GPS reception message when the speed cam alerts appears.

I don't know what was reason for crash. If i can remember, was pop-up window with alarm of radar or something similar. I don't think, that was problem with loosing GPS signal.

With this new version, I'm missing the Advanced option to "Compress Data" and under My Profile to hide Facebook details such as Picture and FB name. (And I think I've looked all over the place under Settings too for this to make sure it wasn't moved somewhere else)

My Purple Waze Monster Mood icon looks old school compared to how the rest of the other peoples' mood icons now look like in my area.

Otherwise, pretty stable so far on HTC One X running ICS 4.0.4

The last few days, TTS was working normally when I first started out, but as soon as the next turn instruction was more than a quarter-mile away, the TTS reverted to the garbage that we've been complaining about all over this thread. Perhaps there's a problem when it looks for the TTS data for the longer instructions?

You may be on to something. I know that in the current iPhone app store release, if you bring up the nav list the future directions are often missing their names. If you close the nav list and then bring it back up right away, then they appear. Also, the on screen next turn directions sometimes pop up as "..." for the name for a few seconds. So maybe there is a similar issue going on where the client is not fetching future information far enough in advance.

it would be nice to add in the navigation bar when approaching the destination the numerical address. right now, waze only shows the street.

it would also be nice if waze would say on the right or on the left.

a destination needs to be set first because the stop point is also an "along the route" feature.

if you choose navigate, categories, fast food, it will show restaurants the are close as well as somewhat far from your current position.

if you put in a destination and then choose navigate, add a stop, categories, fast food, it will choose items that are along the route or near the route on the way to your destination.

TTS gives no problems, the Dutch is sometimes wrong with emphasis sometimes wrong. I don't like the TTS because the volume is too low while driving (all versions).

When I try to "Share my ride" Waze closes down after sending the email. So much for sharing my ride until finisch :D . This happened twice and I tried twice.

Popping menu's are strange, but acceptable.

Closing popups is not consistent and there are some that had before the auto close that I now mis.

When an email send (share ride, facebook messages) I get a choice of GMail (good), (google) drive (?), Sky drive and Evernote. Strange choice. I also have Exchange but that is not presented.

Display of ways is better, details are shown faster.

Waze one time closed on me without an reason. Only a bell and a popup that it closes down. Log file are send automatically after restart.

Everyone is talking about a video, did not see one on my HTC Sensation.

Nice developments
