I do like the new color scheme so far, only the water is maybe a bit too blue.

But more important, I think the maps display should be made a lot better anyway.
The colorscheme was just a minor thing.

Make the map more hi ress!!!

Uninstalled 3.4.99.106; installed 3.4.99.109 with no problems. Initial thoughts:
  • Oh joy! Oh delight! TTS was working absolutely flawlessly all the way home from work! Not sure if that was due to the uninstall/reinstall, or if .109 fixed the TTS problem that I had the entire time with .106 (it wasn't listed under "What's fixed" above).
  • The new "test" theme looks good, but being a creature of habit, I soon switched back to the "Map Editors" theme (guess you're not alone in that, khaytsus). :D
  • Haven't tried the new "night mode" colors yet, since it's morning here ;) -- I'll check it out tonight on the way to work.
  • In the first ten miles of my 18-mile drive, I lost GPS connection 8 times (bright & sunny morning here, no cloud cover at all). After it reconnected the last time, it was fine for the last eight miles home. :?
  • I had no problems with confirming the existing prices at the first of the two gas stations on my drive. However, after I entered new prices at the second gas station, Waze crashed when I pressed the "Send" button.
Logs submitted at the end of my drive (about 15 minutes ago) for your perusal regarding the two problem items above. :)

landscape mode- we are aware that with the new design there is little space left to the map. We took all of your comments under consideration and we're working on it

Zero problems with TTS today, except for one announcement, mentioned in a bit.. I'm getting consistent crashes when trying to view the Scoreboard or Groups, I've sent logs as of 7:30 EST this morning.

I got a "You are nearing your destination" in the wrong place today, or at least needs a rethink. I was 0.1 miles from a right turn, then 0.1 miles to a left turn, then 0.1 miles from home.

New theme looks like OSM to me. Looks okay, I'll keep using Map Editors though.

Just the first car trip of the day, but so far pretty good for me. At least no more Samantha over-riding the TTS.

Ah, and this time I tried the Intro video on my Galaxy Note, played fine, as did the rest of the initial setup, which I assume won't happen every time in the release version. ;)

LG P500, Android 2.3.3
1. Intro video: Cannot play video: SOrry, this video cannot be played.
2. Bubble menu lags, and appears slowly.
3. Horrible black bar on top still block big portion of screen in landscape mode.
4. Pressing menu while having route, opens menu with scrollable buttons. Thats horrible Just open fullscreen menu, with ALL buttons on screen.
5. Speedy Mood looks like DUCK. Get back original speedy mood.

Installed without problem...
Still have the bug that the "target" button remains on screen when changing the setting on the map to always have the North at top of screen...

Installed update all ok. Night colours are good and as brightness would be low not too hard on amoled especially as the screen ia dynamic and changes. What is a issue are the two buttons at the bottom. They stay fixed and the whote colpur could distract from the map. Its these buttons that burn onto my screen. New day map looks good at first glance

Blue in night display is hardest on AMOLED displays. That's 80% of new Android devices.

No mention of fix with TTS issues. Will test that later.

Font for minor streets and landmarks is too small. Font in wazer pop ups not readable.

Made this thread Sticky

Liking the test color scheme so far, but didn't drive with it yet. Happy the small font was preserved ;-)

installed over previous beta without problems. all settings preserved.
intro video playing OK (e.g. not caching that long in comparision with previous beta)

after trying to install new prompt language, client crashed, logs sent 12:55 GMT+2
new prompt language installed on 2nd try.

another crash after going invisible and pressing show reports in menu. logs sent 13:02 GMT+2
when creating Map Chat while being invisible, the chat shows my nickname.

new color scheme looks good. night one too. will give it a longer try (I used minimalism until now)
after setting manually to night and then to auto again, night mode is still active.

navigation bar in landscape still has some space for improvement (to be smaller - unneeded space marked with red).

especially if you have navigation bar and nearing destination bar shown:

link to pic. wazer's popup doesn't fit anywhere in this case...
looking at above picture, see the roundabout diseased shape in client. here is permalink to see, that it is circle roundabout in WME

moods - duck is same as speedy-him and miss female version, gold and bronze are the same, monster is still old-fashioned. cool looks more like "blind" due to big black goggles (stevie wonder was cool, so maybe that whould be ok :D)

settings->social networks->Pop-up reports and Group badges - cannot be modified (if you modify and exit settings they are reverted back to "none" and "From all groups I follow".

menu in landscape mode should be wider, so no scrolling is needed:

wazer's details returned once with really small font for wazer name (but it was OK after a while and was just once):
