Email beta@waze.com. If there is room, which is at least partially governed by Apple's requirements, they will let you know next steps.

Here's a weird one. If i go to the menu and touch shut down and then immediately press the power button to shut off the screen, waze doesn't actually shut down. When i unlock the phone it appears to have been immediately relaunched upon shutting down.

Twice i have noticed this, which has caused waze to run in the background giving bad data. I have just replicated it and sent the logs. I did the following:

Launch waze
Menu->Switch Off
Power button
wait 5 seconds
Unlock Phone
On the screen is a fresh launch of waze, displaying the count of users/reports/jams around me.

timestamp of this post is about 2 minutes after logs were sent.

Edit:
After I posted i tried to shutdown again(still the same launch session from above) and it relaunched in front of my eyes. The map dimmed and then immediately went to the splash screen. I did not see my home screen in between. I have sent the logs again(only 3 this time so it should be easier to parse).

If it continues to be a problem, I"m just going to do a restore and bring back my backup from yesterday. I have yet to see any improvement on anything with iOS 6, probably because I'm running a 3GS and most of the features in iOS 6 aren't available on my hardware.

Today, I noticed that the GPS response to movement was extremely slow or delayed. I could go a block or more before it noticed I changed direction. I don't know iOS 6 is just not handling the GPS signal well, or whether it's an issue between Waze and iOS 6.

There is a problem with how iOS 6 interacts with external GPS hardware, particularly with the iPod Touches. There are multiple threads in the Community Forums on Apple’s wesite:

http://discussions.apple.com/thread/434 ... 0&tstart=0
http://discussions.apple.com/thread/435 ... 5&tstart=0

And here is a search to find other related threads:

https://discussions.apple.com/search.js ... %206%20gps

I’ve encountered the problem more than once, and the described work-around of resetting the Privacy Settings has worked, but it seems like I sometimes have to do the reset more than once. I _really_ hope this is fixed in the next iOS update because I can’t predict when my iPod Touch will be able to use the Dual GPS cradle that works without problems under iOS 5.x.

I didn't have any problem with performance on this beta until today. Last night, I upgraded to iOS 6. This may have something to do with it.

Today, I noticed that the GPS response to movement was extremely slow or delayed. I could go a block or more before it noticed I changed direction. I don't know iOS 6 is just not handling the GPS signal well, or whether it's an issue between Waze and iOS 6.

Also, when I got home, I either forgot to shut down Waze and just put the phone to sleep, or I thought I shut it down and put it to sleep, but I noticed a little while later that the phone was hot in my pocket, so when I took it out and swiped the unlock bar, Waze immediately came up. I did the Switch Off and it shut down and then immediately came back up. On my second attempt, it shut down.

I'm missing something, I think. I have AppSync on my JB iphone 3g but can't get the last few betas to install. I got one before but nothing on the last 2 or 3 since 3.2.2 went on itunes store.

Happens due to long logs and should work fine with debug mode OFF.
