I am running on s2 skyrocket with two Rom. I am still finding that wave recalculated my route too frequently. It seems that when I am on a 2g signal in an are with marginal coverage wave recalculates my route every time the phone switches cell towers. I drove a hundred miles yesterday and for 70 miles of that trip I was on the same road. But every 10 minutes or so wave would beep, recalculate and then tell me to proceed to the route. After a few seconds it would recalculate again and then proceed like normal for another 10 minutes or so.

I sent logs for this yesterday several times when it happened. Each time I sent the log right after normal nav resumed.

On a side note, how do you enable debug mode? I thought it used to be on by default in betas.

Navigation search for 2##2 should toggle it.

Very confusing for others and should be addressed asap!!

darkneon - Waze appears to continue to misbehave in the current version, as it has in the past. This appears to be a significant bug that affects many, so I hope Waze fixes it soon.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S7 Android 6.0.1 Swedish and the latest Waze version.

Waze told me that I had reached my destination after 300 meters then recalculated after 100 meters again. Had 3 or 4 km more to go before I was at my destination . That was when I left work.

Went in to the city half an hour after getting home, picked destination from map and hit navigate and put in reverse just then I had reached my destination again! Drove about 100 meters and it recalculated ok again.. First time I experienced that problem.

I've noticed this too. Perhaps subconsciously. Nowadays, when I'm approaching a major decision point (an interchange, major street intersection, etc.) I will sometimes hit the routes button manually, because I don't necessarily trust that Waze has looked, particularly if I'm seeing traffic icons ahead. And, I'll find, often alt routes will save 10-20% of the time. (Like, 17 minutes when the one I'm on is 20.) That's significant enough to think a route change might be warranted.

Well the places where I had it happen it's fixed, maybe it's just the lack of gps points ? Where does it happen for you?
