Yes, but there are a number if reasons why it wouldn't. This is not a discussion for a beta thread though. Can I politely suggest that if you are not familiar with the way waze works that the beta programme is perhaps not suitable?

Still getting a random dimming, usually about a minute after starting and then occasionally later too.

Is this a known feature or just a bug?

Have you compared them? There's probably a change!

No, but nobody else saw this? Just me?

No I got it too. And as with pretty much every other eula I've seen over the last 20 years I pretty much ignored it.

For my phone, this is the buggiest client ever.
1. Half the time, I lose GPS or network.
2. Sometimes I get a "force close?" error.
3. Several times my phone reboots.
4. When I touch the center of the screen it sometimes changes zoom level.
5. I still get popup traffic alerts that are not on my route.

I wonder if all 5600 Taco Bell locations in the US are off by a half mile when you navigate from the new advertisement icon?

Autourdupc wrote:i would like in beta version a zoom level meter on the map. I think there is still a zoom restoring bug in manual zoom.
So i could see if zoom is "auto changing" when not permited.

I suggested that in the past. I also suggested that a tiny black "zoom factor" number be inserted in the lower, left of screen, "Menu" icon to save on space.

My statement about a paid version was purely sarcasm, not a suggestion.

I was driving around (not navigating) and a large pop-up advertisement for Taco Bell came up (not the little bubble icon). Maybe there should be a paid "pro version" of Waze without advertisements!
