I'm sorry if I'm being a pain but it really bothers me that since some versions I can't locate my friends anymore on the map. There is no friend arrow like before. I can't see them unless I have an idea where they may be and then zoom in and hope for the best. And the concrete suggestion is to let the page with the friends click on a driving friend and zoom into their position on the map. :(((

Also got two reports solved by someone else, but only one arrived at my client. Unfortunately the gmail filters failed miserably so I was almost not aware of the fix, but there was really two mails on my filtered trash. (the filter was meant to filter out my own reports, but google decided to fail and filter out every report email).

You are right, we will handle this in a better way.

My Waze app icon on the Springboard and the My Waze icon both have a (1) on them, but the Inbox line shows nothing and there is no message in the Inbox at all.

Weird popup position when in landscape, and got even worse when the device was rotated to portrait:

Got a weird issue on the previous beta, but the thread is now locked, and it will take me some time to try to reproduce.

- had three messages on my inbox, the welcome, a message from a friend, and a UR fixed one.
- (my messages before the beta were never recovered btw)
- got a bunch of new UR fixed messages on my client inbox.
- deleted them not all at the same time, but in groups of 4 or 5 (more or less the ones visible on screen)
- got the feeling that some messages weren't really deleted, but there were so many I wasn't sure
- some of these were read, some were unread
- deleted the remaining ones until only the three first ones were visible, except that:

- instead of those three, I had those three shown twice - in order msg 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1
- the unread counter in the lower corner was MINUS 4 "-4"

- restarting the client (with a proper "menu->turn off") shown zero messages, and obviously zero unread

- updating to this new beta version may have reset something internally, as now I now have those three messages again correctly.

BUG (reported in iOS release thread) which also happens in the beta:

If the app currently is showing "Searching network..." then the Share function under the main menu causes the "Please wait..." message with the spinning icon to appear and never goes away. If this function is looking for network resources, it needs to be able to timeout and not keep the box on the screen forever.

(This appears to be another example of the app assuming that something will always happen and not having robust error handling available for every function in the app.)

I planned a long route with a stop to meet my my dad. The nav line was spot on but the associated timings/ distances were wildly inaccurate. Stop 1 min from now and 500+ miles?

On a separate note I was offered two different journey lengths with the same timing.

Sorry, I didn't describe.

I was making a randomly and crazy test. So, I set a "start point" (not a stop point) and a destination. What I mean for "expected"? I got my "highlighted route" not fitted to my start and destination point. Since that rout of 120 meters had its highlighted route totally outside of my points.

I never made such test before so I don't know if it is related to this beta version or not. If not, please ignore my post.

Couldn't reproduce. If you have exact steps to reproduce it, please share.

As described by Davidt here viewtopic.php?f=373&t=40677&start=30#p371065

That route must be very short, less than 700 meters I guess.

Similar behavior was observed for long routes at the beginning of a run when I got an instruction "proceed to the highlighted route". Noticed that last behavior in all non-beta version of of Waze as far as I can remember.

Do you want me to document this last "bug" when it happens?
