Yes.
I also want to track the beta discussions - if we can be part of it, it's nice to look in.

I really dislike this so far. I goes to this screen after Switch Off and you then must tap Home to get back to the Springboard. The "switch off" has changed now to turning off GPS and data connections, but doesn't actually exit the app.

I agree....At least you can do a count down of few seconds and then exit automatically.

Or even just tap anywhere on the screen to close it would be an improvement.

I said it already on Centercode, but I'll post it here, too.

This change comes from Apple's app guidelines. Apple discourages apps from having their own "shut down" feature. Their guidelines state that the only way to get to the home screen should be the home button.

Currently there is no officially released beta version for Android. (not sure about iOS). Some unapproved beta versions for Android can be found, but are not stable.

Is that why Waze changed from shut down to -...removed...- option ?

I don't have the actual numbers, but based on forum participation in the beta site, and previously when beta threads were posted here, I think a fairly small number of beta testers actually provide feedback. Most seem to just want to use the "latest and greatest version" for some other reason... bragging rights or something personally motivated. I don't know. Maybe more do actually participate and it's just not obvious. I'd be curious to see numbers from Perlin...

Alan, you are incredibly fast catching the issues/bugs. By the time I find something or notice, it's already been reported or mentioned. :)

I should already have been approved ad beta tester (it's ~3 weeks ago, I got the logon). At bugs.waze.com I can see all the incidents. And at waze.centercode.com I can download the beta App.

Anything else I have to do?

Thanks AlanOfTheBerg,

Okay, but at that site, I can not see how to submit or even read posts etc. I only have my own preferences etc.
