It looks like the real closure is just for the canal bridge, no doubt with "road ahead closed" signs being distributed over the wider area.

It's worth the fiddle of just closing only the bridge on Waze, so that, for example, the residents of Bulbourne Ct can be navigated in and out of their homes. Accordingly I've split the long Waze segment that used to include the bridge so that the bridge has it's own little segment - and now of course Waze will refuse to accept input of the closure until after the next map refresh.

Still 10 days for me to finish the job, I've written myself a diary note....
