Level 4 - Unlock request to draw temporary slip road

Hi Editors,

I would like to be able to edit the following segments.
A5085 - Blackpool Road
A583 - Riversway
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Rather than drawing new segments, can you just realign the existing A583 along the line of the driven route (moving the junction to the new location of course) as this will preserve speed data for all segments.

PS - Not everyone uses FB.

Okay so I've edited before thinking...

I have moved the existing segment to the new alignment, the new junction can be all new segments as it will have its own route timings for Waze to learn. This should reach the app by tomorrow morning... though now I've said that we'll likely have a week delay in updates

I will need the road segment before the junction to be unlocked before I do that

Also this change is only temporary and as soon as it isn't needed, the temporary slip road will close and the current alignment will be used again (albeit with a roundabout splitting part of it); is it still better realign the existing roads regardless?

Someone else has already attempted to add the temporary slip road and this has since been edited by a member of staff before me so I've had to finish editing it and connect it up before it appears on the map rebuild.

All that needs doing now is a closure being added to the main slip road but I will add this as a new thread as it can be done by someone of level 3+
