Hi there - welcome to the forums and map editing!

Since you've already found the forums, I hope you've been busy readying - there's lots of useful information for editors here. You should also (if you haven't already) take a look at the UK Wiki - there's a link in my signature block.

I've connected up that turn lane for you - well one of them, you had drawn it twice! Generally speaking we try to keep the map simple to provide clear instructions for drivers and let them concentrate on using the windscreen, rather than mapping all lanes. This one is slightly borderline, but it is a fairly clear lane split and there's some clear GPS traces taking the turn lane, so it's not a problem.

As a beginning editor, I would advise having a look in the forums for the WME Validator script - it provides a lot of useful information about potential problems with the map and links to Wiki explanations of them. WME Colour Highlights is also a very useful script and WMEOpendata (in the UK forum) will help with naming roads and getting the abbreviations right.

Mental Health Warning: Waze editing can be very addictive and impact greatly on the rest of your life.
