Road works - A409 Magpie hall road

Hi,

There is a closure on the A409 for roadworks. Between the A4140 and Heathbourne Rd. It's blocked to one way traffic at the roundabout, can go west to east only, but I believe people living on the road are not being stopped from going west.
It has been shut most of the week, looks to be staying for a while longer.
Waze keeps taking me there, but if course it is blocked.

Hopefully someone can help.

Hi Andrew, thanks for your report.

I've closed this segment SW-bound only. I found a roadworks.org entry suggesting it was closed until 23 September, so I've made the closure last until 6pm (random time!) on Friday. Please let me know if you have any better information.

For future reference, a "permalink" like the one above can be created by selecting the road segment(s) in WME (Waze Map Editor webpage) and clicking on the icon in the bottom-right corner that looks like a canoe paddle. Then paste it into a forum post and click the URL icon.
