Hi,

There's a UR at this junction suggesting that there should be no entry into the second part of Lexington St past the junction with Beak St.

Regards,
Ian

Is the user intending to report a permanent no entry / 1 way / closed road though? Unfortunately s/he hasn't replied to your UR message nor to this forum post.

Looking at GSV (Google Streetview), there was (a year or so ago whenever GSV visited), a line across Lexington St at the Beak St junction. The user may have expected a "turn right" instruction at that point to continue along Lexington St, and have been reporting it's absence. Even if GSV is up to date, I'm not sure I'd change the map on account of this line.

Completely different possible explanation, there's an expired time restriction indicting a closure of that bit of Lexington St. Unfortunately the restriction has no comment indicating why it was placed. But maybe it was a temporary road closure and this is what the UR was reporting? If so, no map edit is required now (although the expired time restriction ought to be removed, but I've left it for documentation until this UR is closed).

So I've no idea what to do here. I was hoping someone else would reply to this unlock/edit request, but it's now drifting off the bottom of the 2nd forum page so that doesn't seem likely to happen. Ideally someone should go and look at the area, but it's too far for me into an area that I never go to. Unless the report replies or someone else goes and visits, my advice would be to close the UR "not identified".
