5. Thank the user who solved the request (thumbs-up button) and mark the thread Solved when verified complete (checkmark/accept answer button).

Please note that a higher level editor may choose to fix an unlock request themselves so higher value segments will remain protected at their level.

bruce hwy sheilds

guys from coory up on the app the bruce does not show a shield. instead its just A1 - Bruce hwy

should this be NH1 or NR1 or NA1 for this highway to show its shield?

Guys, may as well be a glitch first reported from me in Austria and discovered by other countries as well...shields started to vanish...keep watching and give Pete or me a note, we would have to add Oz to the list of effected countries to get a reset for the shields.

Pete, there is a topic about it in the global champs forum...
We got a reset that brougt back the missing shields, unfortunately they mixed up the shieldtypes along with it...

Hmm, just looked up that historical Waze site called Road Shields Ranch, I used to check on all the shields.

Well I know them to have been complete with every shield showing, but now A4 and A39 are gone. Really seems to be the same problem as other countries. I'll bring it up to Waze, we obviously need a reset for the shields here too. If I get word from Waze I'll make a public announcement too.

Guys, just got an update from HQ, that really seems to be a nasty bug:
We are working on fixing the shields issue, which is more complex then we thought.
For most Wazer users are but drivers I suggested to still make a reset, for even it might just suppress the bug (for a while) it's effecting the representation in the client and might otherwise drive off some users.
I'll keep you updated on the subject... :mrgreen:

Another update: countries where asked to provide information, which patterns have a no show.

Given the display in the client of the Road Shield Ranch just Ax and Axx are not showing:

A brief glimpse over Sydney and Brisbane confirmed this. Looking up this topic it's as well just Ax and Axx.

I forwarded the information for Oz accordingly.

Sorry, just checked around a little, all SR seem OK. Melbourne has quite a lot and I can't see any corrupted.

Depends on when the sheild number was added to the road segment. Takes a couple of weeks for the sheilds to be generated to be seen in the app.

im pretty sure i have never seen the shield on bruce hwy the app from corroy up . all the general ones are showing just fine.

we have had tile updates and still no shields from cooroy up. even the A20 - Stuart Hwy has none
neither A39 - Newell Hwy . i did a bit of work naming these parts ike others before have. before the tile update dates l
